“Digital Humanities are about a human-centered fusion of digital technologies and the humanities. It is a relatively young but promising and rapidly developing field of knowledge worldwide. Its strength lies not only in its interdisciplinarity and flexibility - great assets in research, culture, and the labor market - but also in the humanistic values that unite our DH community, fostering collaboration among its members. Digital technologies illuminate new dimensions of knowledge production in the humanities. They open doors to a deeper understanding of the human experience, providing tools for data analysis, developing digital archives, and visualizing information.”
