Novaya Gazeta, an independent Russian newspaper, published an article about the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Budva. It discusses the establishment of our faculty in Montenegro by Russian professors in exile. This initiative emerged after the Russian government deemed the Liberal Arts educational model a threat to national security and traditional values. The article notes that the new faculty offers majors in sociology, journalism, art history, political science, linguistics, and digital humanities. The project aims to provide high-quality education in a supportive environment, benefiting students from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and the Balkans, while promoting critical thinking and academic freedom.
